This site is expected to pay its own rent. Expansion of the museum can only occur with your help. There are many more paintings and illustrations that may be put on display if interest warrants.

How To Access the Andres Art Museum:

1. Paintings are in Galleries. You can walk thru doorways to them or use the map.

 

The yellow square shows your location. point of view.

Click and go anywhere in the museum.

2. Click on Doorways to enter Gallery, or click on floor to turn around to view paintings behind you.

3. Click on a Painting to magnify the view. Some paintings also include 1 or more closeups.

4. Check under painting for comments about each work.

5. Clicking again on the painting will return you to the Gallery. On paintings with closeups, click near the edges of the painting.

About the Andres Art Museum:

The Andres Art Museum is an experiment in user-friendly cyberspaces.

Based on the topology of a real art museum, paintings are displayed as they would be in a traditional musuem. You can wander through the galleries just as you would in a real museum, or you can use the maps and the links below to move to specific topics of interest.

The Mark Andres Gallery is a bit more modern -- organized as a single page of thumbnails that can be enlarged by clicking for extra viewing.
